August 2nd, 2018 – Our SHINE high school students successfully completed and presented their summer research developing nanomedicine for cardiovascular and kidney diseases!

April 7th, 2018 – Our lab had a successful NanoDays event at the CSC! We had over 300 guests learn about the nano in bone, light-reflecting materials, and drug delivery.

October 11-14th, 2017 – Undergraduate Prajwal Bharadwaj presented a poster at the annual Biomedical Engineering Society (BMES) conference in Phoenix, AZ. Next year, BMES will be held in Atlanta. Local high school students are also encouraged to present!

August 2nd, 2017 – Our SHINE high school student, Vivian Lu, successfully completed and presented her summer research! With the guidance of her mentor, PhD student Jonathan Wang, they will continue to work towards developing nanomedicine for kidney diseases!

April 25th, 2017 – Professor Chung, Jackie Masehi-Lano, Christopher Poon, and Jonathan Wang kick off NanoPeek at the 32nd Street Middle School! After 3 science classes and workshops on nanotechnology, nanograms were developed by these students in the media class and can be found on our social media account for all to enjoy! March 16th, 2017 – Professor Chung and Jackie Masehi-Lano led workshops on Biomaterials in Medicine and in Everyday Life at the Women in STEAM 2017 at Mirman School.
