March 13th, 2017 – Professor Chung’s article A Biodegradable Tri-Component Graft for Anterior Cruciate Ligament Reconstruction is highlighted on the cover of the Journal of Tissue Engineering and Regenerative Medicine.

February 27th, 2017 – Dr. Larissa Rodriguez from the Department of Urology and Prof. Chung are awarded the L.K. Whittier Foundation Non-Cancer Translational Research Award for their collaboration on developing hydrogels for urinary incontinence!

February 14th, 2017 – Our review article on Targeting Cell Adhesion Molecules with Nanoparticles Using In Vivo and Flow-Based In Vitro Models of Atherosclerosis is now available online in Experimental Biology and Medicine. Congrats to Khosrow, Jackie, Chris, and Jonathan!

February 6th, 2017 – Dr. Chung receives the Tony B. Academic Travel Award to present at the Society for Laboratory Automation and and Screening conference in Washington, DC!

January 1st, 2017 – Prof. Chung and Dr. Larissa Rodriguez from the Department of Urology were awarded the Eli and Edythe Broad Innovation Award from USC Stem Cell to continue their collaboration on developing hydrogels for urethral regeneration. December 12-16th, 2016 – Prof. Chung gave an invited talk at the Young Investigator Session and presented a poster regarding Designer Micelles for Molecular Diagnostics at the IEEE EMBS Micro and Nanotechnology in Medicine Conference in Waikoloa, HI.

November 21st, 2016 – Gadolinium-Functionalized Peptide Amphiphile Micelles for Multimodal Imaging of Atherosclerotic Lesions is now published online in ACS Omega.

November 16th, 2016 – Prof. Chung presented her work on the Design of Micelles for Molecular Diagnostics at the American Institute of Chemical Engineers Annual Conference in San Francisco, CA.

November 25th, 2015 – Professor Chung was highlighted by Medicine on the Midway at the University of Chicago for her success in obtaining the K99/R00 grant from the National Institute for Lung, Blood, and Heart at the NIH.

October 9th, 2015 – Professor Chung presented her work “Peptide Amphiphile Micelle-Mediated Molecular Imaging of Cardiovascular Disease” at BMES in Tampa, Florida.

August 12-15th, 2015 – Professor Chung attended the Short Course in Tissue Engineering at Rice University in Houstin, Texas.
